A science whose application on law brings truth and justice
or in other words a science which is applied in
investigation to find out the truth behind the curtain is
called forensic science. A person well versed in application
of this science to law and investigation is called an
forensic expert or forensic scientist. Forensic science is a
vast area and consist of many fields like Questioned
documents, fingerprints, cyber forensic, firearm ballistics,
forensic DNA, forensic toxicology, CSI (crime scene
investigation), therefore different field have their own
experts in which they have experience and knowledge
respectively.
